Terms
These are the rules for using CoachBlocks. We have kept them in plain words, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
Who you are dealing with
CoachBlocks is run as a registered business in Kosovo. “We” and “us” below mean that business. You can reach a person at hello@coachblocks.com.
What CoachBlocks is
Software for coaches. You record what a client lifted, it drafts their next block of training, and your client sees it on a link you send them. It is a tool that does arithmetic quickly. It does not decide anything, and it does not replace you.
Your account
One account per coach. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think somebody else has it. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Paying
The free plan covers three clients and stays free. Solo costs $39 per month and covers up to 30 clients.
Payments are taken by Paddle, who are the merchant of record. In plain terms: you buy from Paddle, Paddle pays us, and Paddle handles the sales tax for your country. Your card statement will say Paddle rather than CoachBlocks. Their buyer terms cover the purchase itself; these terms cover using the software.
It renews every month until you cancel. If we ever change the price we will email you first, and the new price will only apply from your next renewal, so you can leave before it takes effect.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel whenever you want. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period, then the account returns to the free plan with all your work intact. Our refund policy sets out when we give money back, and the answer is usually yes.
Your clients' information
You will put other people's details into CoachBlocks: names, sometimes an email or phone number, sometimes an injury. Those people are your clients, not ours. You decide what goes in and why; we only hold it and show it back to you.
So it is on you to have a proper reason to record it, and to be straight with your clients about the fact that you use software to write their training and that they get a link to see it. Do not enter medical records, and do not enter anything a client has not agreed you can keep.
We do not sell it, we do not train anything on it, and we do not look at it except when you ask us for help or when we have to in order to keep the service running. The privacy page has the detail.
The numbers are estimates
For weighted exercises where CoachBlocks can work out the weights, it uses a set the client has done on that exercise and rounds the result to the equipment increment you set. The calculation is arithmetic, not a coaching decision. Every number is yours to change before your client sees it.
This is not medical or health advice
CoachBlocks is a tool for qualified coaches to do their own work faster. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it is not a medical device. You are responsible for the programmes you give your clients. Anyone with an injury or a health condition should speak to a doctor.
Using it sensibly
Do not try to break into other people's accounts, scrape the site, resell access, or upload anything unlawful. Do not use CoachBlocks to send people things they did not ask for.
When things break
We work hard to keep this running and we do not promise it will never go down. There is no guaranteed uptime, and occasionally we will take it offline to fix something. If it is unavailable for long enough to matter, email us and we will sort out the bill.
Ending it
You can stop at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and unless you have done something seriously wrong we will tell you why first and refund whatever you have paid for and not used.
If we ever shut CoachBlocks down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to take your data with you.
Liability
We provide CoachBlocks as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything that matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using CoachBlocks after that means you accept the change. If you do not, cancel and we will refund the rest of the period.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Kosovo, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer somewhere else, you keep whatever rights your own country gives you. Nothing here removes them.
